The video below is from NBC News on the topic of youth sports and an increase in injuries at younger ages.  I am extremely passionate about this topic as a coach and I too am seeing more and more injuries in young athletes of all sports!

I would love to hear your comments on this topic!

Re: 'Pushed To The Point Of Injury'

Hopefully, this type of national exposure will reach some parents. We have all witnessed coaches, and even volunteer parent coaches, who are more concerned with the 'W' than the athlete. How is it that parents and coaches cannot see that their methods must be re-evaluated when pre-teens are succumbing to season-ending injuries?
