There seems to be a concerning pattern in our industry over the past few years. One that is I believe holding our profession back. What am I referring to?
The sesaw game of training information being communicated by popular coaches. Specifically, changing one's approach literally one hundred and eighty degrees one day, and then going a whole different direction a few months down the road.
Here's my question to you....are you changing or are you adapting?
Changing means that you switch from one philosophy/style to another without actually being grounded in a solid training philosophy/method that works for you.
Adapting means that as you come across new information/research, you do not immediately implement it into your practice, but instead take time out to ask more questions and then figure out if there is a place in your current philosophy/training method to make the addition of new material.
